The West CEO Class ended last week with a visit to CGH Medical Center, with Shane Brown, VP Physician Services, greeting students and sharing fun facts such as 1400 employees, 99 beds, mulitple clinics, and more. Jen Grobe, Nursing Program Director, and Ben Schaab, CFO (and CEO student dad!), were also on hand. Jen's thorough tour of the hospital took students places more do not get to see. Some student thoughts:

"I really enjoyed this tour, and found the paramedic speakers, Tom and Kevin very interesting to learn about and what their day looks, with how many calls they get in a day and how they can have lots of downtime depending on the day." Nora Truedson

"On the tour we got to go to the Labor and Delivery part of the hospital. It was really interesting to see the different types of rooms and learn that every time a baby is born chimes sound throughout the hospital. Can you imagination that small boost of light in your day?" Lili Drinkall
