Nick Dinges has been an entrepreneur since he was 10 years old where he began mowing lawns in his hometown of Sublette. The business became so lucrative that by the time he graduated high school, he was able to pay cash for his finance degree at Western Illinois University. With more than 30 years of entrepreneurial experience, he is now the the CEO at Dinges Fire Company, as well as co-owner of several other businesses, with no sign of stopping or slowing down. He handed the class 40 of his favorite quotes, whether it was the lyric of a song, a famous quote, something his parents or grandparents instilled in him, or something he came up with on his own. Each student engaged by reading the quotes one by one, and he discussed why they had meaning in his life as a business owner, father, and husband.

This year was particularly special because we had two extra guests. Jake Dinges, sophomore at Amboy High School (son of Nick), and Kaylee Zimmerman, freshman at Amboy High School (daughter of CEO facilitator Emily) joined the class to get a glimpse at the life of a CEO student while enjoying a speaker in their hometown.
