Monday morning's business visit started with CEO student, MaryKay Downs, introducing her uncle Matt Selmi and grandfather, Frank Selmi. Matt gave an overview of the business, with student becoming quickly distracted with animals, specifically adorable bunnies. Students went on to help feed the animals and tour the acreage filled with many things to see and do. The 4th generation family business has evolved over the years with Frank and Matt explaining that transitions and changes can be difficult at times. Taking time to learn, understanding seasonal business, increasing marketing efforts, and adding new ideas, such as their own cider press, were all topics of discussion. It was a relaxed day for CEO students with plenty of time to look around, enjoy hot apple cider, check out the retails store, and even buy a bunny. Paezleigh!!!!
