We finished off the week with Mike Venier, owner of Venier Jewelers and city councilman for Dixon. Mike discussed a variety of topics that including the importance of involvement in your community, buying local, volunteerism, and building lasting relationships. Mike sits on many boards, spent decades involved in youth sports, particularly Al Morrison baseball, and is passionate about the arts and culture, specifically the Dixon Theatre. The students had great questions for him and had time afterwards to take a look at the gorgeous jewelry in the display cases. It was a fantastic way to end another great week in CEO.
