UPM Raflatac in Dixon employs close to 100 people, manufactures 85 products, has 3 automated warehouses, and ships out 30 truck loads of material every day. General Manager Eric Fiessinger and his team took the students on a guided tour throughout the plant, where they were able to see production start to finish, along with many robotics. It was great to learn about inventory, raw materials, customer base, and finishing goods….all things they will have to begin thinking about as we begin working on individual business ideas.
Thank you UPM for meeting with us and being a huge support of the WACC CEO program!
