On Monday students were greeted by Amazing Grace Senior Pastor Kristy Pipes as she welcomed them to their new home base, the Grace Center. She explained the center's mission to meet the needs of youth, socially, physically, and emotionally. Coincidentally, the center was built by youth in the WACC Building Trades.
CEO student spent their first two days of class here figuring out the details of their involvement in The Festival of Trees. The student driven process started a bit chaotic, but eventually landed on four committees with chairpersons and a list of action items. During the process, students reminded each other of team building lessons such as listening, not talking over one another, and how various DISC traits play into discussions.
