About Me

Alayna Young is a senior at Polo Community High School. She is a part of the National Honor Society and is a high honor roll student. She is also Student Council president and a B.L.I.N.D leader. Alayna is passionate about being the best leader she can be, and making a difference. She often spends her time playing sports. She is a year round athlete, and participates in football cheerleading, basketball cheerleading, and her favorite, track and field. Alayna decided to join CEO to get better knowledge on leadership, and to get out of her comfort zone. After high school, Alayna plans on going to Sauk Valley Community College then transferring to a four year university.  Alayna has Type 1 Diabetes and is planning on becoming a Diabetic Nurse Practitioner, so she is able to help other people just like how her nurse practitioner helped her.
