About Me

  Blake Geuns is a senior at Prophetstown High School, where he is a part of many activities and organizations. He is a 4-year varsity golfer, Senior Class President, Student Council Vice President, a member of National Honor Society, and is ranked number one academically in his class. Blake has always been driven to work hard in school because of the discipline his parents instilled in him. He also values work around his community, as he has accumulated over 75 hours of community service while in high school. Blake is passionate about many things including golf, money, and politics. He believes that golf teaches certain life skills that aren’t easily attainable in other ways. His obsession with money came at a very young age when he would save as much money as he could without spending it.  He believes that having a good understanding of money and financial decisions is vital to one’s success in this world. Politics are a new passion that Blake has acquired because of what he sees in the world today. Many do not understand Blake’s obsession with politics, but he believes having a grasp on this concept is very important for any person. Blake has always wanted to be an entrepreneur and own his own business. From CEO class, Blake hopes to broaden his understanding of how businesses are run and what mindsets successful owners have towards certain situations. He believes this class is a way to grow as a person within a professional environment and network with others in his community. He knows that no matter what material is given to him, he will take so much out of this class and apply it to life outside of high school. Following high school, Blake would love to either golf in college or attend Florida State, as that has been his top college for years. Wherever life takes him, he is sure that the skills he learns in this class will help him for the rest of his life.
