Dr. Kelly Mandrell has accomplished a lot in the world of education, but her family is the accomplishment she’s most proud of, and that’s exactly how she began this morning’s presentation. Her primary role is the superintendent of Polo Community School district, where she described to CEO students that her main job is doing anything and everything to protect her students and provide them the best education possible. Her staff knows that she is a safe space to go to, and that as long as people are getting paid and they are safe, any other problem can be resolved. The class received great tips on how to be a good leader as well as a prepared interviewer. A lot of great interaction and questions were asked, and we appreciate our group of guests from Eastland who came to class with Mrs. Pilgrim.
