Last week, we had many incredible speakers, including Dixon’s City Manager Danny Langloss. Danny challenged all of the students to think of a specific person who they consider a leader and explain why they feel that way. So many incredible names were brought up including “my mom, my dad, my coach, my teacher, my grandma, my sibling.” Characteristics of those leaders were wrote down and discussed in length. Danny discussed what he considers are 5 key leadership mindsets, and paired students into groups to go over a scenario and discuss it with their peers.
90 minutes is never enough time with Danny, and we appreciate his continued support of the CEO program. We are also very thankful that the City of Dixon is an investor in the program.
