Karla Belzer, County Director for the University of Illinois Extension, changed things up a bit and discussed with this year’s class that every single day, she’s learning something. That’s why she hasn’t figured it all out yet. Karla’s career path began in recreational therapy, and overtime has transitioned into what she’s doing now with extension. Her day is never the same, but she ascribes to being a servant leader.

The students had a lot of opportunities to work the left and right hemisphere of their brain throughout the presentation, both challenging and silly. It was a great day full of information, quotes, and collaboration.
