The East class made their way to Milledgeville today to hear from business owner Jamie Leech. Jamie talked about her entering college as an undecided major, and encouraged students to keep an open mind and not be scared of the unknown when taking elective courses. After getting her graduate degree, she worked in the K-12 schools as well as private practice. When the opportunity presented itself, she took a leap of faith, purchased a building, and opened up Jamie Leech Counseling. She’s now had a year under her belt with aspirations to continue improving the space for both her clients and the community. It was a great morning with a lot of great college and career advice.
