I’m a bit behind on posting, but last week the East class got a FULL tour of the Dixon Police/Fire department, where they were able to visit the holding cells, gym, evidence room, interrogation room, living quarters, and fire apparatuses. The highlight of their tour was when Officer Lehman asked if they wanted to go inside the jail cell in which all 15 students, dressed in their Sunday best yelled “YES” and giggled as they got locked up.

In all seriousness, there were a lot of great questions and many Sunday journals discussed the importance and respect for our first responders. This year’s CEO class may even possibly may have 1 or 2 future police officers in it as of now.
