After several days off for Thanksgiving, West CEO students jumped into their week with a visit to On Call Imaging. Entrepreneur Pete Harkness shared his vision of an affordable, quicker option to imaging. In order to be successful, his venture required a fair amount of time to become knowledgeable, form partnerships, and gather employee input. On Call Imaging brings a more retail sense to health care and was built from a consumer point of view. Students enjoyed a tour of the renovated facility with a "spa-like" atmosphere given by Janelle Sharp, Site Lead and Skip Sage, Director of Operations.
In addition to the On Call Imaging overview, Mr. Harkness shared valuable business insights: don't burn bridges, ask caring questions, life is about experiences and relationships, perception is reality, and life is not a dress rehearsal, to name a few.
