Self Help Enterprises is Turning Challenges into Opportunities.
Tuesday found CEO West students visiting with Self Help Executive Director Pam Fluck, along with the team of Jessica, Jen, and Barb who direct program activities and work production at the facility. Currently, approximately 100 disabled individuals come to Self Help to practice things we take for granted, such as paying bills, hygiene, creative projects, etc. and opportunities to earn a paycheck, get out into the community, and advance their skill levels. From piece work for local industries, to recycling, green house work, transportation department and much more, it is quite the enterprise system! We enjoyed meeting clients (who like getting their picture taken even more than CEO students) and finished the day decorating the cafeteria Christmas tree, a donation from the CEO Class of 2023.
