When you drive past the massive Walmart DC facility, you probably didn't know it is one million square feet in size, which equates to 16 football fields! CEO students received a lesson on supply-chain from Joanna, Matt, and Aaron which included a lengthy tour from dry goods to banana rooms to -20 degree freezer section. They saw semis being unloaded on one end and products going out on the other. In between, there were forklifts, automation, pickers, machines that wrapped the orders, and so much more. Students learned about the values at Walmart such as a growth mindset and a people led-tech powered vision. They day concluded with Q and A and an overview of the career opportunities in the company.
